Every so often, I find myself needing a new login name and password for some new application. Each requires a different login name (this title is much more meaningful than user name) with its own password. And due to the varying requirements (one of my bank accounts requires a 6 character password, while another requires a minimum of eight characters), I could not even standardize on a single password
With so many different passwords I quickly ran into trouble managing them. Therefore, upon the recommendation of a colleague, I downloaded Sourceforge’s Password Safe software (passwordsafe.sourceforge.net) and started storing my various login names and passwords. But when I set up the safe, the Password Safe application told me that my password was a weak password!
