Dear fellow IAIDQ member,
It is finally Summer in the northern hemisphere, and do we have a “hot Summer” in store for IAIDQ members!
Expect a series of “Anniversary events” to celebrate the 5th birthday of our association. We have come a long way since inception and we remain the only premier professional association for Information and Data Quality around.
Our membership and mailing list is constantly growing and we are seeing more interest; just as an example, our website visits have risen by 21% from 2nd half 2008 to first half 2009, with visitors from more than 110 countries around the world.
Other members of the organization have been busy working on Industry Reports, which we will be publishing over the next few months; look for a very interesting Salary Survey report – the first ever for IDQ professionals, as well as the results of our Job Analysis research.
I am also very happy to report that we’ve done a lot of work on a comprehensive Sponsorship Program, which will be rolled out in the next few weeks. This new program allows organizations to sponsor IAIDQ products and will serve as marketing platforms for software vendors as well corporations that seek to enhance their corporate citizenship profile. We hope the additional funds from this sponsorship program will accelerate the development of more membership products and value in the future.
Our IDQ Certification development work continues: we completed the Blueprint and Job Analysis earlier this year, and we expect to launch Phase II, the exam development, in the 2nd half of 2009.
As you can see – we are very busy putting your membership dues and donations to work. See iaidq.org for updates on all the items above. It’s already a hot summer, but it will get even “hotter”!!!
