IAIDQ 5th Birthday Celebrations Report

IAIDQ members have been actively celebrating our 5th Anniversary.
In June, Altug Gurer, our Director of Information Services, hosted a session for delegates at the Data Governance Conference in San Diego. This session combined an introduction to the IAIDQ with the sharing of some birthday cake with the attendees. Participants also received a hard-copy of the IAIDQ's report on The State of Information and Data Governance which was produced in association with UALR.

Delegates at the session were overwhelming in their welcome and support for the IAIDQ's development of a structured certification for Information Quality professional skills.
In July, Christian Walenta hosted a small social gathering of Information Quality Professionals in New York State. While the attendance was small, those who attended were grateful for the opportunity to network and socialise with fellow Information Quality practitioners. Similar events are planned for elsewhere in the US and Europe in the coming weeks and months.
