Dr. Elizabeth Pierce, a faculty member in the UALR Information Quality Graduate Program and Chair of the UALR Department of Information Science, was honored with the "Decade of Service Award" at the International Conference on Information Quality (ICIQ) at MIT. Dr. Pierce was recognized for her research contributions, her role in establishing the new ACM Journal on Data and Information Quality, and for assisting in the development of the first graduate degree programs in information quality at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Angelina Ha was recently appointed as the Data Quality and Analysis Manager at RealtyTrac, the leading online foreclosure marketplace. This newly created department and position oversees and validates the data quality of all information systems and all ETL transformation rules. She will be starting the Data Quality department and reporting to the Founder of the company.
