Dear fellow members:
I’m excited to share the news that IAIDQ publications are now available and searchable on our website at publications.iaidq.org.
This portal is a rich and growing online resource of over 60 publications and articles from Information and Data Quality practitioners and experts, including newsletter articles from thought leaders such as Larry English, Thomas Redman, Danette McGilvray, Arkady Maydanchik, David Loshin, and more.
Soon to be added to our Publications portal are the articles from this quarter’s newsletter issue:
- Dr. John Talburt explains the subtle gotchas that make Entity Resolution, Entity Identification, and Entity Disambiguation a far more challenging undertaking than most people realize.
- Arkady Maydanchik concludes his series on Data Quality Rules by devoting his 6th article to a discussion on General Attribute Dependencies. You’ll find earlier instalments of the series in the Publications portal.
- Daragh O Brien expounds on a recent legal case in England that shows just how easily poor Information Quality can lead to a lawsuit.
Don’t forget to check our association news section, where we have News from Members, our Call for IAIDQ Volunteers, and our Call for Contributions.
Sincerely,
Michelle C. Dy
