Dear fellow members:
With the year 2009 off to a great start for the association, it's my pleasure to bring you this quarter's issue of the IAIDQ newsletter:
- Michael Scofield concludes his two-part series on the behaviour of primary keys. In case you missed it, you'll find Part 1 of the series in the October 2008 issue of the newsletter.
- Daragh O Brien shares his insights and observations regarding the IQ profession, gleaned from the many hours he has spent in the Aikido dojo.
- Gene Draschner and Elliott Blake propose a framework for evaluating data quality from their unique perspective as financial regulators.
In our association news section:
- Certified Information Quality Professional (CIQPSM) Exam Topics. Keith Underdown updates us on the progress made thus far in developing exam topics for the CIQPSM.
- Building the Community: A Call for IAIDQ Volunteers. There are numerous opportunities to network and work together with fellow IAIDQ members. Find out how you can help build the IAIDQ Community by joining the Publicity and Membership Services Teams.
And as always, you'll find the newsletter's Call for Contributions on our last page.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Michelle C. Dy
