Piyush Malik
Piyush Malik is an Associate Partner with IBM Global Business Services and serves as the Global Delivery Leader for Business Intelligence & Business Performance Management solutions for Americas. As a founding member and thought leader, Piyush was instrumental in establishing the Information Integrity practice area for PricewaterhouseCoopers and subsequently at IBM Business Consulting Services. He additionally continues to serve as the Competency Leader for Information Integrity at IBM.
In an enriching professional career spanning 20 years with increasing management responsibilities, Piyush has worked in the information technology industry in Asia as well as America dealing with diverse data and information issues from operational to tactical to strategic level.
Specializing in CRM and Business Intelligence, he has two decades of international consulting experience with Fortune 500 clients providing analytics, data warehousing and BI solutions and information integration services spanning a variety of industries including Lifesciences, Healthcare, Hi–Tech, Electronics, Telecom, Retail, Financial Services and Defence.
As a strategic management consultant focusing on emerging information technologies, Piyush has had extensive leadership as well as hands on experience in designing, architecting and implementing complex solutions. He works with clients on value net optimization, information value chains, data quality and governance, organizational transformation, and business value realization, using advanced business models, analytics and cutting edge technologies.
Though born and raised in India, as a US citizen, Piyush has been living in Silicon Valley, California for the past 13 years and actively volunteers in the community. He holds a Bachelors in Electronics Engineering from Delhi University and Masters in Management of Technology from IIT, Delhi.
Piyush Malik is a charter member of IAIDQ, hosts the monthly “Ask The Expert” IAIDQ forum, has authored many articles and whitepapers in industry publications and has been invited to speak at conferences in North America, Europe and Asia.
