Saša Baškarada
About the Author
Dr. Saša (Sasha) Baškarada is a seasoned IT professional and academic. He taught a wide range of software engineering and computer science courses at the University of South Australia (UniSA) and also spent some time developing software for the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) before getting involved in information quality through his doctoral research.
Saša completed his PhD at the Strategic Information Management Laboratory at UniSA while also researching data quality for a large Australian Defence organisation. After the completion of his PhD, he worked as a consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers. Saša has provided consulting advice to numerous Australian and international organisations in the areas of Information Quality Management and Strategic Information Management and has exhibited thought leadership through the publication of one book (Information Quality Management Capability Maturity Model) as well as numerous book chapters and peer reviewed journal and conference articles.
