Dear Member,

If you would like to take a more active role in the running of the IAIDQ, this is an excellent time to do so. The Board of Directors invites all IAIDQ members to seek one of the vacant Board positions. The Association needs a steady stream of strong, resourceful and dedicated leaders in order to grow and succeed.

Two Board positions are up for election (click on the position name to see the position description):

We are excited to announce the opening of these board positions for election. This is a significant opportunity for members to take a lead role in the development of the Association and the profession and to give your fellow members the benefit of your  skills, experience, enthusiasm, and energy.

In our 5th anniversary year, we are pleased to deliver:

And in 2010:

Benefits of being a Director

Being a Director is an incredible opportunity for members to lead positive change in the information quality profession for the benefit of the wider community. As a member you can contribute, but as a Director you lead the planning, prioritising and delivering the objectives of the Association.

In addition, Directors have a unique oversight of the strategic and pragmatic challenges facing information quality professionals and the profession over and above that which might be seen by members in normal circumstances.

Furthermore, writers on business leadership have identified leadership of not-for-profits as being an excellent way to develop useful skills and capabilities which help business leaders succeed in their other ventures.

So, if you feel you have something to contribute and would like to reap the rewards that come with being an IAIDQ Director, please nominate yourself (or if you are humble, ask a friend to nominate you). You can nominate for as many positions that interest you, but you can only be elected to one position.
